Description
Quantic are specialists in Web Solutions and Online Marketing. We work with clients as diverse as Telelogic (a division of IBM) and Oxford University Press. Our core specialisms include Website Development, SEO Analysis, Interactive Presentations and Graphic Design.
We require a Development Manager with preferably but not essential a PHP background to join our growing business based in Oxford. You’ll be part of a small team in a dynamic company working with PHP/ASP and other technologies for multiple clients on a number of new and ongoing projects as well as being in a key lead and advisory role for other developers and contractors. Part of the job will also be reviewing scope and estimates provided by developers and reporting back to the management team as well as providing knowledge on possible development paths.
Key skills and a good understanding of the capabilities and limitations for:
- PHP (5 yrs+)
- D/X/HTML
- CSS
- Javascript
Desirable skill are:
- ASP
- Java
- Ajax
- XML
- Flash
In addition required competencies include:
- A good eye for detail
- Leadership qualities
- Project lifecycle (system design, development, testing, delivery)
- Excellent communication skill at a technical and business level
- Time ownership/management
This is a full time position based in Oxford.
£30,000 – £45,000 per annum, start date flexible
