Who?
Why?
Firstly, we wanted to provide a job board that doesn't get flooded with jobs advertised by agencies. The signal to noise ratio at the large job sites these days is pathetic. Agencies can only advertise at PHP Positions if they specify the name of the company they are acting on behalf of.
Secondly, we wanted a site that was specific to the kind of work people like us are looking for. Sure, great developers will adapt to any programming language, but then lots of developers have a preference. This site is for developers looking for PHP jobs in the UK.
Thirdly, there could be some money to be made doing this.
Lastly, we wanted a project to help us get to grips with the Zend Framework.
